Boozhoo. Tomorrow's Spirit Day theme at SCA is Anishinaabe Language shirt day or Indigenous graphic apparel day. Wear a shirt with Anishnaabemowin on it or wear apparel with indigenous designs.

American Indian Services (AIS) is a non-profit charitable organization that provides undergraduate Native American students with financial support to attend college, maintain enrollment and graduate through scholarships. Awards are based on up to one-half of tuition and need for the term the student is applying for and are allocated directly to the school for the student. Students will need to reapply each term, unless they are applying for the academic year.

MSU Extension is offering a new ‘Building Strong Sovereign Nations (BSSN) Teen Fellowship’ program to select teens age 15 and older, who are interested in leadership, civics, history, reading & writing, and who are of Native American lineage, or members of one of the 12 tribal nations across Michigan. This Fellowship is led by MSU Extension Educators responsible for the award-winning BSSN workshop series for tribal leaders. These new Teen Fellows will use and grow their research, writing and interpersonal skills to make the BSSN workshops relevant to tribal youth and to add value to the adult tribal leader experience.
