Our Trick or Treat celbration was a huge success today. miigwech to all of the Tribal Departments that showed up to support today. Miigwech also to Tribal Council members who showed up to support.
The top two decorated department tables were: Tribal Housing 2nd and SCTC 1st.
We also had a visit from the WiiMaajiikwad Wonka Gang.

We are allowing parents to sign up and pass out candy at Wii Maajiikwad for Halloween. The event will be on October 30th @ 1:00 pm in the Gym. If you are interested in passing out candy, please reach out to the main office at 989-775-4453 to sign up. We will be accepting registration until 3pm on Wednesday!
Please keep in mind that we have allergies to NUTS and CHERRIES! Please avoid these two items when you purchase candy. We have a total of 110 students.

Bus Drivers need up to date student lists before they pick up students and clssroom teachers need to prepare student spaces.
If forms are returned Monday or later, 24 hours Processing time will be required for student start.

Back to School Backpack giveaway is happening now! We are in the gym of Wii Maajiikwad this year. We still have backpacks available; come see us before 7:30pm.

Wii Maajiikwad Immersion has two openings; one in Pichiinsag (3 year old) and one in Maangoonsag (4 year old) classroom. Our Megisiisag (2 year old) classroom is currently full, however, we have started a waiting list. At times, we have students and parents that are not quite ready for school or are not able to obtain the parent language hours required.
Wii Maajiikwad students in K-5th grade will also need to complete a new enrollment packet. We are only asking for updated immunization records and an up-to-date physical.
We will also be hosting an Open House for students to come in and meet their teachers. This also allows them time in the classroom and the ability to meet other students. Please see attached Flyers and enrollment packet for registration. Please contact the main office at Wii Maajiikwad with any questions or concerns.

Please join us on our first day of Meet Up & Eat Up today! Breakfast is served from 7:30am to 9:00am. Lunch is served from 11:30am to 1:00pm. We will serve meals Monday through Friday.

K-12 Educational Pow-Wow May 7 & 8, 2024
Reminder: SCA has a half day today, Thursday, April 11, 2024, and Friday, April 12, 2024, due to Parent/Teacher Conferences. Dismissal is at noon. Students who attend the Afterschool Program will need to be picked up from SCA at noon. Migwetch!
